A Little history...

Jeff & Sharon Kohl, owners of The Patio Banquet Hall and Parkside Wedding Chapel have almost 30 years of combined food service experience. They met while she was a waitress and he was a chef working at Sally's Steakhouse in 1977. Sharon had already put in her dues working up from George Webb's to one of Sally's most requested waitresses. Over 14 years of fine dining service gives her a wealth of knowledge in customer service and attention to detail to serve as your Event Coordinator. Four more years experience as owners of the Parkside Wedding Chapel ~ where Sharon and Jeff are both reverends/officiants ~ makes them your perfect hosts for weddings or any special occasion banquet.


Jeff's impressive 15 years of cooking credentials include:

3 year apprenticeship: Chicago's prestigious 'White Hawk Club' and 'President's Restaurant'
27 months: Traveling the US working for the Playboy Corporation as Sous Chef -
                 fine tuning restaurant operations around the country
16 months: 'Restaurant Associates' overseeing 5 hotels in NY & Miami as corporate Sous Chef
2 years: 'Americana Hotel' Executive Sous Chef and Steward
            in charge of 6 restaurants, and banquet facilities for up to 5000 guests
2 years: Phoenix Country Club, Sous Chef
1 year: Holiday Inn, Milwaukee
3 years: Sally's Steakhouse, Saute Chef
